Family and friends will come together for this special event in loving memory of Frank Ramirez, who lost his battle to non-smokers lung cancer on December 22, 2011.

The Frank Ramirez ‘Breathe to Believe’ event takes place to celebrate Frank’s birthday and raise $40,000, which will benefit local organizations such as The American Lung Association AZ, The Joy Bus Diner, Lump Busters and American Cancer Society-CAN.

Each year in the US, approximately 220,000 are diagnosed with lung cancer and the disease takes more lives than breast, colon and prostate cancer combined.

The funds raised through this event will be used towards lung cancer research, so more of those diagnosed survive and receive better treatments.
